The SMH is reporting: 'British anti-terrorism detectives escorted a man from a plane after a taxi driver had earlier become suspicious when he started singing along to a track by punk band The Clash, police said Wednesday [...] The taxi driver had become worried on the way to the airport because Mann had been singing along to The Clash's 1979 anthem London Calling.'That's right - punks are now 'terrorist suspects' too. There's a pattern emerging--detailed in many posts--here. It's also a theme the newly-released film V for Vendetta strongly argues: our government's security campaigns are not solely about terrorism at all, that this 'war' is even more related to social and economic control and the elimination of dissent.
