Lying and Deception as Government Policy There's a decent article on 'Lying and Deception as Government Policy' at Counterbias.com by Ramzy Baroud (though a little too brief and lacking references): '...the Bush administration has undeniably pushed the conventional and sometimes acceptable margin of a government's deceit to the point that lying becomes the primary, if not the sole form of public policy.'Substitute 'Howard Government' for 'Bush admin' and you have a parallel definition of policy in Australia, also.
