Terror video decides elections? CNN is reporting Fidel Castro has characterised the emergence of an Osama bin Laden videotape immediately prior to the U.S. presidential election as seeming "to have been arranged to help President Bush". The Cuban leader said "We have seen too much ... trickery and shamelessness to sustain the belief that this wasn't something arranged." "Bin Laden makes the documentaries that decide elections" Castro is reported as saying. More like a Reality TV show, some would argue, than a documentary. Castro's comments echo concern over the timing and authenticity of the tape raised at the time of the election. Comments:
