When "undercover agents" pose as "freelance journalists" to "expose a terrorist plot" - does their agency contemplate the harm this may do to the ability of real journalists to collect information with/in confidence, and present it to the public? One would think there are bound to be a lot less potential interviewees on matters of terrorism following this revelation. As for potential "harm" to the "war on terror" - surely there are other ways and means that don't rely on undermining the position of journalists as (nominally) independant investigators. Comments:
