The 9/11 report is out - and it carefully skirts some of the most controversial issues raised by those terrible events. The Bush gang is already engaged in trying to blame previous administrations. Evidence is finally emerging however that certain Intelligence Agencies have a high degree of complicity. The Guardian is highlighting the Pakistani ISI's role: "... parts of the ISI directly supported and financed al-Qaida, and it has long been established that the ISI has acted as go-between in intelligence operations on behalf of the CIA". The Sunday Herald in late 2003 reported on plausible Israeli cognisance - but stops short of serious allegation: "the possibility remains that [Mossad] knew the attacks were going to happen, but effectively did nothing to help stop them". It does venture that "one highly placed investigator told [...] Fox News that there were 'tie-ins' between the Israelis and September 11". There have been revelations in the past of faked Al-qaeda cells in Palestine - and why not elsewhere? Recent behaviour in New Zealand resulted in an NZ court finding that Israeli intelligence was de-facto an "organised crime organisation" - and there are even more serious allegations that remain untested. After the attacks, former Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu was asked what the strikes would mean for US-Israeli relations. He said: "It's very good." There are also largely unreported links between the OK City bombers and Islamist terrorists. What is emerging is a picture of false-flag operations, disinformation, and concerted efforts not to stop events that would suit a particular agenda, at the expense of life and liberty for many, many people. This disturbing, threatening pattern of governance by deceit and terror is undoubtedly supported by the campaign in Irak. Comments:
