|  | June 04, 2004 Art exposed to the rules of real life Indications of the pyschopathic nature of "anti-terrorism": an Artist is investigated for Bio-terrorism. "The more art looks like real life, the more exposed it is to the rules of real life" comments one critic after Police and emergency personnel triggered a serious probe into vials, bacterial cultures and strange contraptions and laboratory equipment found in the home of Steve Kurtz, a Buffalo art professor and founder of the Critical Art Ensemble. His recent work examines the "problems of the emergence of biotechnology". He is also the author of "Electronic Civil Disobedience and Other Unpopular Ideas," published by Autonomedia/Semiotext(e).
