Of interest is "Summary of a Study of Strategic Influence, Perception Management, Strategic Information Warfare and Strategic Psychological Operations in Gulf War II", by Sam Gardiner, Colonel, USAF (Retired). It makes interesting reference to "the Rendon Group, [...] deeply involved in selling the first Gulf War as well at this one". This is the same outfit that employed Paul Moran, the Australian cameraman killed in a suicide bombing during GW 2 in northern Irak.
