The intention was to collect the various pronouncements and announcements on the capture of Saddam, and take a good critical look at them. Of course the lies started as soon as the rumors of the tyrant's capture, if not before. Then yesterday I read a piece by Gordon Thomas in the Sunday Mail newspaper, which laid out a scenario that gave great pause. What if Saddam was not hiding in his hole, but had been kept prisoner there? That may explain why he was "talkative and co-operative", why he had no mobile phone or radio with him, and other anomalies. If one thinks about who would gain from this, and who would have the means to hold him, then the signposts start pointing away from the "rebellion" entirely..... | HOME | EMAIL | Root Blog | Bloggerfind |
